Deepotsava 2026 at Gupt Vrindavan Dham will begin on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, and conclude on Tuesday, 24 November 2026.
The month-long celebration will take place at Gupt Vrindavan Dham, Jagatpura, Jaipur, where devotees can participate in the daily offering of ghee lamps to Lord Damodara throughout Kartik Maas.
Programme timings may be adjusted on special celebration days, so visitors should confirm the schedule with the temple before planning their visit.
Visitors can participate in Deepotsava by attending the evening programme and following the guidance provided by temple volunteers.
Attend the Evening Aarti
Visitors are encouraged to arrive before Shayan Aarti so that they have sufficient time for darshan and can join the congregation before the lamp offering begins. Arriving early will be particularly helpful on weekends and days when a larger gathering is expected.
After Shayan Aarti, devotees will have an opportunity to offer a ghee lamp before Sri Yashoda Damodara. Every lamp should be handled carefully and placed only where directed by temple volunteers.
Parents should remain close to children while they participate in the lamp offering because the lamps will contain a live flame.
Devotees can sing Sri Damodar Ashtakam with the congregation or listen attentively while the prayer is offered. The lamp offering will be accompanied by devotional singing and Hare Krishna kirtan.
