Quick answers
About the dates, the fasting notes and where they come from.
Where do these dates come from?
From the Vaishnava calendar that Hare Krishna Mandir keeps, entered by the temple office. Each date lists what falls on it and, where the temple has noted one, when to break the fast, and you can search the dates or filter them by kind of day.
Why might another calendar show a different date?
A tithi begins and ends at different clock times, and the day an Ekadashi or festival is observed depends on sunrise at the place the calendar is made for, so calendars for other cities can differ by a day. For the date the temple observes, follow this one.
What do the “Breaking fast” notes mean?
They are the temple’s own notes on when to end the fast, shown exactly as entered. Where the calendar gives no note, this page shows none. To ask how to observe a particular day, please contact the temple.
Can I add these dates to my own calendar?
Yes. Use “Add to calendar” above the list to subscribe in Google, Apple or Outlook Calendar, or to download an .ics file. A subscription stays current as the temple adds and corrects dates.
Can I offer seva on these days?
Yes. Ekadashi and festival sevas are listed on the sevas page. To ask about a particular day, call or WhatsApp the temple office on +91 92280 23235.
